Rotator Cuff Problems

The "rotator cuff" is comprised of the four muscles which together buttress the head of the humerus (upper arm bone) in its (somewhat shallow) socket on the shoulder blade.

Since it is constantly in use and frequently placed under tremendous stress, and because the strength in this set of muscles is often not well balanced, the shoulder joint is particularly prone to stiffness, injury and pain, all of which are quite responsive to massage therapy.
