Pinched Nerve

A pinched nerve is the term commonly used to describe the impact on a nerve from a muscle “injury” (often seemingly caused by the littlest misstep) that results in inflammation and swelling and splinting of the surrounding muscles. This is often knife-like pain, frequently accompanied by an unremitting dull aching, or even spasm s. All of this can be intolerable and even debilitating.

While I have found that neither muscles spasm nor extraordinary (pinched nerve) pain responds well to deep massage, there are other massage and hydrotherapy techniques which can promote pain relief and healing.

In addition, I offer many ideas concerning the innumerable ergonomic challenges that we encounter both during the day and when sleeping, which when addressed and corrected can speed recovery from a pinched nerve.
